BREAKFAST MEETING ON TOURISM PROJECTS

The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Wildlife led by Honourable Minister, Dr. Michael Usi in collaboration with Standard Bank Malawi and Malawi Investment and Trade Centre (MITC) with financial assistance from GIZ Malawi MIERA facilitated a breakfast meeting on Tourism Projects with stakeholders in the banking sector.
Having noticed that Standard Bank is one of the Banks in Malawi that serves the corporate world, the meeting was done in an effort to mobilize investors to diversify their investments portfolio and expand beyond their home markets.
This follows the launch of Malawi Tourism Investment Masterplan by His Excellency, the State President of the Republic of Malawi, Dr. Lazarus MacCathy Chakwera on 4th April earlier this year.
Representatives from GIZ Malawi, Standard Bank Malawi, Malawi Tourism, MITC, EU Delegations, National Planning Commission, African Development Bank (AFDB), Public Private Partnership Commission, Innobuild PVT LTD, MRA, Ministry of Local Government, Linde Motel were all in attendance.
